Suitability of the Variety

Field and Land Preparation
- Field Requirements:
- Well-prepared, weed-free field with excellent drainage.
- Conduct 1-2 deep ploughings.
- Soil should be exposed to sunlight.
- Perform 3-4 rounds of harrowing to achieve a fine tilth.
- Pre-Harrowing Application:
- Apply 8–10 MT well-decomposed FYM/acre.
- Add 250 gm Trichoderma to control soil-borne fungi.
Seed Treatment
- Treat seeds with Carbendazim 2g + Thiram 2g per kilogram of seeds.
